The Trumpet of Tutankhamun is a freeware educational program. It contains a recording of the original silver trumpet from the tomb of the Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamun, who lived in the 14th century B.C.

The 'About' page is the title page and tells you about the programme.

The 'Introduction' page contains notes on trumpets in Ancient Egypt.

The 'Sound the trumpet' lets you hear the sound of the ancient trumpet.

Whilst the 'View the trumpet' shows you some photos of the ancient musical instrument.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS : To be able to run the program you need an IBM-compatible PC with at least Microsoft Windows 3.1 and a sound card. The program size is 836KB.(474KB - zipped)

DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLATION:
The file is available as a compressed file, therefore you will need a program like Winzip (Windows) or stuffit (Mac) to unpack the programme.
